I can't sit still lately. My mind is going a hundred miles an hour, dreaming up new ideas, trying to remember old ideas, jumping from one project to the next and feeling frustrated that I never feel "finished". I've been keeping a journal full of thoughts and ramblings, filling it with ideas that come to me in the middle of the night, or while washing dishes. If I don't write the ideas down, they will be gone momentarily, making room for the next lightbulb going off in my head!
One thing I have been picturing in my mind lately is more fabric collages. I finally dragged out my sewing machine and threw these together....while coming up with my most recent idea of jewelry, paper collages, assemblages, on and on, it never seems to end. How do you deal with the frustration when ideas seem to spark and then scatter? I need advice!

I write everything down too - making lists and lists and... :-)

From a soon to be 66 yr. young thinking gal.....keep a journal. Oh I know all the pretty one's are terrific but get that composition book at the dollar store and never let it leave your side + a pen of course. The mind is an amazing tool, I find the older I get the more creative I get. Maybe it's just life telling me to get moving after all I don't have forever anymore. It's good to have the old brain get active!

Just thought I'd let you know, that frustrating as it is, you're perfectly normal! Writing down your ideas is a good idea. I was complaining about your exact same problem one day and some one said that ideas are like planes circling around our heads, waiting to land. My only hope is that they have enough fuel :)
