A Family In Desperate Need

If this story does not make a person feel blessed, then nothing will. This story brought tears to my eyes, and right now the only thing I can do to offer help is to spread the word, so here it is...http://www.tctimes.com/articles/2009/10/31/news/local/doc4aeb474c4f07c071527417.prt

Hello QueenBe,

I read this story and it's just heartbreaking...it's hard to figure how certain people have these streams of tragic events....it is said *what doesn't kill us will make us stronger*.

I know I'm stronger from all the negative events in my life so far..we really never know what we can withstand until put to the test.

I'm hoping with the help from this family's townspeople that they can be held together and get through this. But truly I cannot imagine the horror they must feel at this point!

Thanks for stopping by and leaving your comment about the Lyme Disease...the other side to this illness is that MANY doctors do not screen for Lyme disease and thus the symptoms get written off to another problem....so....the story goes..the disease goes undetected until in it's chronic stage and then the insurance company says NO, we don't cover treatment for Chronic Lyme disease.

It's just so contradictory for the insurance to pay for treatment if diagnosed early and NOT cover it otherwise..just a real inequity within our health care system...

The insurance companies make our doctor's lives a living hell these days!

Thanks for your kind comment and glad to see you!

Have a great day,
Stephanie
